Zeus-ing It Up

Chip Bok, 9/7/12:
At last! An explanation for why miracles are so much rarer over the last, oh, three millennia than they were in Biblical times: God has no power at all indoors.

D'ya think this explains why TV evangelists build such big churches, maybe -- they're thumbing their noses at the Big Guy?

    I'm still trying to figure out (a) when the Democrats booed God, and (b), who the hell the abortion lady is? Chip probably means Sandra Fluke.

    Anonymous:The Democrats weren't sufficiently obsequious towards this very Old Testament God -- and I'm sure someone, when the floor vote came up, booed at that moment, about God or something else -- which is close enough for old Hair-Trigger Jehovah.

    And of course Sandra Fluke is "the abortion lady" -- don't you know that wanting any woman ever to have anything that functions as birth control (even if she needs it for other health reasons) is exactly the same as advocating for abortion on demand? Surely everyone knows that!
