Safe in the House of Her Husband or Father

Women simply cannot be trusted with birth control: if you make it easy for them to have sex without the threat of getting pregnant, they'll inevitably make bad choices and get themselves beaten up.

So banning birth control is for their own good, really!

(Also: is anyone else confused that the speaker in the "safe house" looks like Asay's usual Laura Liberal straw woman? Except here she's supposed to be on the side of righteousness, I suppose.)
