This is another one of those aggressively local cartoons, of interest only to the inhabitants of a small geographic area. I usually avoid those, unless they're as cryptic and baffling as this one.
Hodin works from San Luis Obispo, and the caption for this one is "SLO Bell Goes Bye-Bye." The large image is the flag of SLO, and someone -- the local carpenter's union? sneaky underhanded forces from the international wheelbarrow cartel? -- is walking off with a piece of the middle of that flag.
