Acronymically Challenged

Ken Catalino, 4/29/11:
I hesitate to mention such a trifling point, but Catalino's "G.R.E.E.D." acronym doesn't have a word for "R". There isn't even an "R" in "gasoline" than he can point to as a fallback position.

I'm afraid his great explanation for the rise in gas prices is good old "GEED," which is the past-tense verb of the action of making an animal pulling a load turn to the right. And, perhaps, if we did use more animal-powered conveyances, gas prices would drop somewhat.
