Nick Anderson, 10/7/11:
This one could be a Rorschach test, since it's so apparently meaningless.
It's similar to a whole bunch of cartoons from the last few days about Steve Jobs's death, with two important changes: first, the thing being eclipsed is a heart, not the Apple logo. And second, the thing eclipsing it is a simple circle, not the Face of Jobs.
I have to be honest: I have no clue at all what this cartoon is about. Perhaps something really sad recently happened in Houston, where Anderson cartoons for the mighty Chronicle?
